Pets are available to be bought at the Downtown pet store Mister Pets or at the pet store in The Hills called The Emerald Chinchilla. The price varies between 
Cash and 
Stars for each pet. They give you 
XP and 
Energy when you tap them every once in a while. Also some pets are only available to live in certain homes.
